The History of 122nd Inverleith Scout Group

122nd Inverleith Scout Group was formed in 1968 through the merger of 101st Inverleith / Edinburgh Scout Group and 111th Inverleith / Edinburgh Scout Group.  Since that date it has been based at St Stephen's Church, Comely Bank.  In the first few years following the merger the group had Cubs (numbers between 36 and 70!), Scouts (numbers between 20 and 31) and Rover Scouts (numbers from 2 to 11).

101st Inverleith was formed in 1926 and met in St Luke's Church (15a East Fettes Avenue).  During most of its separate existence the group had Cubs (numbers varying from 14 to 46), Scouts (numbers varying from 15 to 47) and at times had a number of Rover Scouts.

111th Inverleith was formed in 1927 and met in St Stephen's Church (East Fettes Avenue).  During most of its separate existence the group had Cubs (numbers varying from 10 to 30) and Scouts (numbers varying from 13 to 31).
